Initiated and completed in 2003. Stand design, including interior architecture, display systems, furniture, signage, graphics and interactive media at the Shanghai International Automobile and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition.
Outcome
The theme of the Shanghai General Motors show was ‘Drive the future’. Studio Dumbar chose transparent materials and colourful graphics to complete the streamlined, minimalist and high-tech features of the stand design. A tactile rubber floor made of recycled car tyres, supported glossy white platforms displaying silver automobiles. The exhibition design was created in co-operation with Unit Design in Frankfurt.
