OVG is a company which actively seeks out opportunities for European expansion, both in the field of redevelopment (for example, restoring buildings or regenerating neighbourhoods) and as a developer of uncultivated areas thinking uniquely different strategy for each client they have.
OVG has a very specific, authentic company culture, which has a lot to do with the personalilty and charisma of Coen van Oostrom, the founder. In its way of working, OVG is solid, reliable, well organized. The spirit of the company is agile, entrepreneurial, fast adapting, eager to find new, better solutions. This unique combination is what makes the difference.
Outcome
The new visual identity of OVG reflects this unique combination of talents. The logo is like an icon, expressing straightforwardness, reliability and strength. Projected on various shapes the style becomes a ‘living identity’, dynamic and adapting to each new situation or creating new situations; just like OVG’s approach to the projects it develops.
A simple, but effective strategic suggestion by Studio Dumbar was to reduce the complete positioning of OVG to one clear descriptor, added to the name OVG: re/developers. The term, carefully phrased in the active (verbal) form, perfectly covers the feel of the company’s activities.
