Client

C, a Dutch broadcasting organisation for art and culture.

Project

Initiated in 2006, ongoing. Name creation and visual identity design of all aspects of the broadcasting company, up to promotional items and station calls.

Outcome

C focuses on all aspects of art and culture, for large and small audiences. The organisation needs to campaign for subscribers in order to operate within the public domain of broadcasting.

Studio Dumbar created the name C as well as the colourful, multilayered logo and a range of variants. By using these variants, C can present itself with a recognisable style, but will not be limited to only one visual expression. A clear example is the press folder, where the logo is actually cut out of four separate layers of paper. Moreover, Studio Dumbar came up with the idea of integrating subscription forms into traditional items such as letterheads and business cards, giving them a double function as campaign items.
