Outcome
AD Nieuwsmedia merged one national and seven regional Dutch newspapers together in one brand, a major event in Dutch newspaper history.
The rebranding operation supported the conversion from broadsheet to tabloid, a relatively new phenomenon in the realm of Dutch dailies in 2005. The AD monogram, referring to the parent-newspaper ‘Algemeen Dagblad’, is combined with both new and existing regional titles.
