Senior Interactive Designer

Studio Dumbar is an award-winning design agency in Rotterdam with a joint venture in Shanghai, working in corporate, graphic, environmental and interactive design. We are working for an extraordinary mix of clients and projects from small national companies to big international brands; from business, government and NGO’s to art and culture. Although clearly rooted in the Netherlands, we have on average five different nationalities in our staff of 30.

Currently we are looking for a Sr. Interactive Designer to join our team in Rotterdam.

Job description

The Sr. Interactive Designer has the visual and conceptual lead in interactive productions and the skills to translate functional designs and communication requirements into outstanding and appealing designs. She has an excellent understanding and knowledge of technical possibilities and can cooperate closely with programmers/developers.
In all projects you will be part of a team that strives to find the right balance between business objectives, brand values and user centered design.

What we expect

- BA in accredited design/art school
- at least 4 years of related experience
- a clear vision on interactive media and online

Project Manager Interactive

Currently we are looking for a project manager to join our interactive team in Rotterdam.

Job description

Interactive projects are complex and deal with many different parties like business people, user experience and visual designers, programmers and technicians. All of them have to work together to get a successful and outstanding project. This needs management of expectations, deadlines, planning and budget - internal and external.
We are looking for a friendly, highly communicative and dedicated colleague with management genes who fits in our creative environment and is willing to boost the interactive team.

What we expect

- dedicated to (interaction) design
- at least two years experience in managing
  new media or web projects
- education in design or communication is an
  advantage
- fluent in Dutch and English

Senior DTP Specialist

Studio Dumbar is looking for a senior DTP specialist to start immediately.
You are the responsible, driving force behind the quality of our DTP work.

What we expect

- experience in the field of corporate identity
  design
- systematic and structured method of

- independent
- broad responsibility (including archiving, for
  instance)
- pro-active (developments in the area of
  software, process improvement)
- detailing and finishing designs
- knowledge of and affinity for (typo)graphic
  design
- proficiency in the Dutch language
